I DID IT!

After I graduated from high school, I wanted to go to college, I even had tried to enroll. But it seemed that that wasn't for me at that time. Instead I got a job working in a nursing home as a nurse's aid. Then my step grandfather was sick and my grandmother needed help caring for him, so I went to Yuma, Arizona. Then as one other site says, Falling in Love and Marrying, I wound up in Fresno, California and got married and started having children.

Then in August of 1992, I went back to school and in December of 1996, I graduated with an AA degree in Liberal Studies. I then went on to Chico State University and in December of 2001, I graduated with a BA degree in Liberal Studies. My graduation was so pretty and exciting! As the picture shows, I wore a black gown with a black cap. My tassel was blue, the color of my degree, and I had a red shash around my neck. I was very hot in it but was also very proud and excited.

I hope to go on get a Credential and then get hired by an Elementary School District and teach children how to read and write.
